We get it! You're stuck at home and guess what?! SO ARE WE!
That is why we decided to put together a list of EASY activities you can do at home with your kids!
Trace your hand with a pencil. Use a marker (color of your choice) start at the bottom of the page and draw a straight line until your reach the outline of your hand, where you’ll then make a curved line! Continue all the way up the page! For even more fun, use different colors as you go!
This is an easy and quick way to entertain your kids during a quarantine or even on a rainy day stuck inside!
This craft is SO easy! Drop them in the mail for a loved one that you can’t hug in person!
With your pen or pencil, draw freely on the paper without any thought about what you were drawing. Let the line swirl, twirl, and crisscross! Color in overlapping shapes of the drawing, leaving some white space between each shaded shape. This is also fun when you use different colors and can be a great stress reliever
Easter Sunday is a few days away, these tie dye eggs would be a fun activity for the kids!
What you’ll need:
Hard boiled eggs
Food color and/or markers
Water in spray bottle
This is a recipe to make paints right in your own kitchen. You can use regular food color or Kool Aid or even other brands of drink mixes, such as Crystal Lite. If you don’t have paint brushes you can be creative and use cotton swabs or sponges that have been cut into smaller pieces or shapes. You might even crinkle up a ball of paper and use it as a stamp to transfer the paint to paper or object. Finger painting is fun too!
THE COURAGE OF A LION!
Lions are said to have the greatest courage. This Smudge craft will put a smile on your face and give you a chance to talk about courage with your child. Courage doesn’t mean we are afraid...it means we don’t let fear rule or control us (this may even be a great conversation for adults in light of recent days).
